About

frema exists so that people building games and websites can spend their time creating instead of hunting for assets they are allowed to use.

Why this site exists

Checking licences eats a surprising amount of time on solo and team projects. frema removes that step entirely by publishing everything under CC0 (effectively public domain). Commercial use and edits are free, and no credit or sign-up is required. Never having to wonder whether you may use something is the whole point.

Quality and publishing policy

Every asset is reviewed by a person before it goes live; anything that falls short on quality or raises a rights concern is not published. We do not carry assets that imitate real people, characters from existing works, or brands. If a problem surfaces after publication, the asset is taken down or replaced promptly.

Languages and updates

The site is available in eight languages: Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), German, Russian and Korean. Assets themselves are language-independent, so every language shares the same library. New assets are added continuously and categories keep expanding.

Contact

For questions about an asset, infringement reports or anything else, please use the form. We do not publish an email address.
